For many years I've enjoyed seeing distinguished speakers at forums like the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco and the Marin Speaker Series. Every time I return home to Colorado, I think "Why not here?"
I love speaker series because you get to hear the personal stories of dignitaries and world figures that have been in the midst of it - at the center of key discoveries, political movements, or global events. I remember great evenings with friends where we've seen fascinating speakers such as Tom Brokaw or Tony Blair and then gone out to a coffee shop and talked for hours about the ideas and stories we'd heard.
All of our team members here at the Insight Series have a passion for engaging people from a range of perspectives in learning about and discussing the issues and people that are shaping our world.
Speakers are chosen on the basis of their unique expertise and the stories they have to share with audiences. We provide an extraordinary opportunity for audiences to hear in-depth, personal stories from today's leaders.
We've structured the speakers within each season to cover a diversity of fascinating topics - from world affairs to leading edge cyberspace, from scientific discovery to arts and culture. You may subscribe for a season because of a name you recognize, but will end up finding that your favorite speaker is someone you'd never expect.
